The Charles A. Dana Foundation Summer Grants

In the 1980s, the Dana Foundation established an endowed summer internship program, the Dana Foundation Summer Grants, designed to assist students, with demonstrated financial need, with career-related summer experiences. The goal of the program is to encourage students to generate employment opportunities relevant to their career interests, which will also ease the burden of summer earning expectations. At the time of its inception, Wesleyan asked alumni, parents, and friends to support the initiative with gifts to help offset the costs of low- or no-pay internships.

Up to $5,000 (per grant)
