George H. Whipple Jr. '39 Wesleyan Summer Grant

In 2018, Marta Whipple established the George H. Whipple Jr. ’39 Wesleyan Summer Grant in memory of her late husband, George Whipple, Jr., of the Class of 1939. The George H. Whipple Jr. ’39 Wesleyan Summer Grant provides grants to students with demonstrated financial need who are interested in pursuing summer learning opportunities in chemistry or physics.
